The Word of God
The Word of God is spoken to us in Jesus Christ. It is articulated for us in Scripture. It is interpretated for us in the teaching of the Church. We worship God through Word and Sacrament: Jesus, the Word of God, is the our sacrament of encounter with God and the church is the sacrament of our encounter with Christ.

To grow in worship we have to grow:
- in our knowledge of Jesus Christ
- in our knowledge of Scripture
- in our knowledge of the teaching of the Church.

-towards knowing Jesus, the Word of God
-towards knowing Scripture through reading from the Lectionary
-towards understanding the Word of God as it is preached
